Combined profiling with hybrid seismic surveying and geoelectrical tomography

Problem:
The subsurface for a planned dam in a potential permafrost environment has to be explored by geophysical methods. Is there any permafrost or not? Are there any dead ice holes?
Target depth: 0 to 30 m

Measuring methode:
A combination of reflection seismic profiling with refraction seismic tomography and with geoelectrical tomography leads to a detailed image of the subsurface conditions.

Results:
There is no evidence of permafrost.
